Iraqi Transport Minister H.E. Captain Kadhim Finjan approves the Habbaniyya International Airport and Cargo Village Project

Ramadi, Iraq – September 29, 2018 – Anbar Investment Commission is pleased to announce that Iraqi Transport Minister, H.E. Captain Kadhim Finjan, has granted his approval of the Habbaniyya International Airport and Cargo Village project. Captain Finjan will present this mega investment opportunity in details at the Anbar Fourth Annual International Investment Conference (AAIIC 2018) taking place on October 17 and 18, 2018 at the Fairmont Amman Hotel in Jordan.

The Habbaniyya International Airport and Cargo Village is one of the most promising investment opportunities in Anbar. The airport’s runways meet international standards of world airports. It is in close proximity to the capital Baghdad and other provinces and is surrounded by vast land that is ideal for establishing a cargo village.

“Captain Finjan’s outstanding efforts were instrumental in moving forward with this investment opportunity after years of delay because of past circumstances in the province,” said Mr. Mahdi Al-Noman, Chairman of Anbar Investment Commission. “Captain Finjan confirmed his participation in the Conference where he will present this key investment opportunity as well as other opportunities in the transportation sector and will address investors’ questions and concerns.”

AAIIC 2018 will present the investment map for the province and showcase well-planned mega investment opportunities in all sectors. It will be the ideal venue to address investors’ concerns and their aspirations in the presence of many Iraqi, Jordanian and international figures.
